Do celebrities ever have doubts after they have their surgeries? Of course they do especially if they dont get the results they intended! What if you dreamed your whole life about getting that nose you've always wanted and it came out horrible? Do you think that one surgery is really worth it because if it doesnt come out right it may be worse than before. Many celebs have been disappointed with their surgeries. Many breast augmentations have come out ten times worse than when they started. From them being crooked to them being to high, or to low, or too big, or smaller than expected. You have an image in your head of what you want the outcome to be after your surgery. Michael Jackson had regrets with his nose after so many surgeries he had no nose left. Kathy Griffen is one who does regret and is open about her surgeries. She has said that before she felt comfortable with herself she was on the "junk" called plastic surgery and then realized her looks didnt matter to everyone else as much as it did to her. She realized she was wasting her time. How long does it take for someone to actually realize that they are wasting their time or money. It took Kathy from the age of 26 til her age of 49 she wasnt happy with her apparence, now at age fifty she is satisfied and comfortable and regreting things in the past. Does it take all celebrities awhile to realize they are beautiful as they are?http://www.theplasticsurgerychannel.com/celebrity-plastic-surgery/kathy-griffin-doesn%E2%80%99t-love-plastic-surgery.html

I think that everyone has at least one part of themselves that he or she would like to change, but we as a society have put so much charge into what people look like, confidence in a flaw is arrogance. Many of the overwieght stars look better than the ones that wieght close to nothing, but in the eyes of the media, those people must not care about what they look like. It is sad that our culture places so much emphasis on outer perfection when we should be concentrating on inner beauty.
ReplyDeleteI think plastic surgery is addictive...once you start getting it, it's hard to stop...and the more you "play" with your looks, sometimes the worse it gets. I think it's a dangerous habit. I agree with the previous poster that most people look better (in reality, if not in the media's eyes) if they just stick with what they were born with.
